Room Setup

-Arrange camera for direct clear picture of deponent
	not back lit
	neutral background or backdrop
-Court reporter comfortable and able to look directly at 
	participants (deponent and attorneys)
-Witness and attorneys comfortable with room to spread 
	out documents


Equipment Setup
-------------------
-AC power to all equipment
-fast forward and rewind tapes

signal path

-mikes to mixer
-mixer to VCR1 
-audio/video from VCR1 to VCR2
-audio/video from VCR2 to monitor or TV
-audio from VCR2 to and audio cassette
-monitor audio out to headphones

-check time and date in camera
-check mikes through headphones
-make test recordings 
-check test recording (leave on tape)
-trouble shoot any problems and re-test

-double check information on forms with reporter
-have participants put on microphones
	remind them don't touch

-preview exhibits (bones, X-rays)
-unplug phone
-close door
